The Image Converter changes images from one format to another. Drop in photos, screenshots or graphics, pick the format you need, and download the results one by one or all together as a ZIP file.
It reads JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO, SVG, TIFF and HEIC files (including iPhone photos) and writes JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO, TIFF, PDF and SVG. While converting you can resize, crop to an exact size, rotate, flip, adjust colours, and fill transparent areas with a colour. Presets cover common jobs such as web images, favicons, square social posts and thumbnails.
Everything happens in your browser using its built-in image engine, so your images never leave your device. A before / after slider shows each result next to the original, with the file size you saved.
Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of images.
No. Images are read, edited and saved by your browser on your own device. The page only downloads small open-source helpers when needed (for ZIP downloads, AVIF output, and HEIC and TIFF files); your images are never sent anywhere.
The tool uses your browser's own encoders for most formats, and a few older browsers can't create WEBP. If it is greyed out, try a different browser or choose JPG or PNG. AVIF works in every modern browser: when the browser can't write it, a small AVIF encoder is downloaded the first time you pick it, and your image still never leaves your device.
No. The SVG file contains your image as pixels, so it won't scale like a true vector drawing. It is useful when a website or app only accepts SVG files.
Only the first frame is converted. The result is a still image.
