Privacy Policy

How FreeAIToolsNow handles your information.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Summary

We collect as little information as possible. The AI tools currently on FreeAIToolsNow run entirely in your web browser, so the text, files and settings you enter into them are processed on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Information you provide

If you submit a tool or contact us, the details you enter in the form, such as your name, email address and message, are sent to our server, which emails them to us and keeps a copy so no message is lost. We use this information only to review your submission or respond to you, and delete it when it is no longer needed. To limit spam, the server briefly remembers a one-way code made from your IP address (not the address itself) for 10 minutes.

Private File Share

Private File Share is the one tool that needs you to sign in and uses our server. Files uploaded to it are stored on our server until the share link expires or is deleted, and are then removed. They can only be opened with the share link and its password. The page and the share links use a strictly necessary session cookie to remember that a password was entered; it is deleted when you close the browser, and it is not used for tracking. To limit password guessing, the server briefly remembers a one-way code made from your IP address. None of our other tools upload your files.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and performance purposes. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you across other websites; it records anonymous page views, the referring site, the browser and device type, and the country.

Cookies and local storage

FreeAIToolsNow does not use advertising cookies. Your browser may store basic preferences locally to make the site work smoothly.

Third-party services

Our fonts are served from our own website. Some tools download open-source code libraries from the jsDelivr content delivery network the first time you use them, the Background Remover downloads its AI model from IMG.LY's content delivery network (staticimgly.com), and the Speech to Text Transcriber downloads its speech recognition model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co). The Video Compressor downloads its compression code from jsDelivr and, only when your browser can't compress the video itself, the FFmpeg engine from unpkg.com. These requests fetch code and model files only; your text, images, audio, videos and documents are not included. The YouTube Thumbnail Downloader loads thumbnail images directly from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com, operated by Google), so Google can see your IP address and which thumbnails your browser requests; no YouTube web pages are opened. The Web Font Pairing tool and the Logo to Brand Style Guide Generator load the fonts you preview from Google Fonts, which means Google can see your IP address. The Speech to Text Transcriber's optional live dictation uses your browser's built-in speech service; in Chrome and Edge this sends your audio to Google or Microsoft, and the tool warns you before you use it. Links to external websites, including listed tools, are governed by those websites' own privacy policies.
