Text Summarizer
Pull the key sentences out of articles, documents and long text for a short, clear summary.
Combine PDFs and images into one file, reorder, rotate or delete pages, split a PDF into parts, make big PDFs smaller, add page numbers or a watermark, and save pages as JPG images. Everything happens in your browser, so your documents never leave your device.

Everything on the right is joined into one PDF, in that order. Drag pages to reorder them, rotate or delete pages, then download.
Click pages on the right to pick them. They are saved together as one new PDF.
Each page becomes its own PDF, downloaded together as a ZIP.
Change the title that PDF readers and browser tabs show, instead of the file name. Pages stay exactly as they are.
Adds a page number to every page on the right, in the order shown. Pages keep their text and quality; the numbers are drawn on top.
When the first page is skipped, numbering begins on page 2 with your start number.
Writes your text across every page on the right, see-through so the page stays readable. Pages keep their text and quality.
Text that is too long for a page is made smaller so it fits.
Saves every page on the right as a JPG image, in the order shown. Several pages download together as a ZIP.
Normal is sharp on screens. High is best for printing but makes bigger files. Small is quick and light, for previews.
Your pages appear here. Add one or more PDFs or images on the left, or try the sample.
Drag a page to move it. On a keyboard, focus a page and press Shift + arrow keys. Rotated and deleted pages only change the downloaded file, never your original.
PDF Tools puts the everyday PDF jobs in one place: merging, organizing, splitting and compressing. Drop in PDFs and images and every page appears as a thumbnail. Drag pages into the order you want, rotate the ones that are sideways, delete the ones you don't need, and download a single, clean PDF.
To split a document, click the pages you want to keep, type ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, split every few pages, or save every page as its own file. Several files are downloaded together as a ZIP. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable and nothing is re-compressed.
Compress makes large PDFs easier to email and upload. The Light level re-saves the file more efficiently and keeps text selectable. Balanced, Strong and Extreme redraw each page as an image at a lower resolution, which shrinks scanned documents and image-heavy PDFs a lot, but means text can no longer be selected. You see the size before and after, and the tool tells you when your PDF is already as small as it gets.
Edit title changes the title that PDF readers and browser tabs show in place of the file name, along with the author, subject and keywords. The pages are left exactly as they are, and merging, splitting or compressing a single PDF keeps its original title.
You can also add page numbers (such as "Page 1 of 10") or a see-through text watermark like CONFIDENTIAL to every page, with text and quality left as they are, and save pages as JPG images at screen or print resolution. Rotated pages get their numbers and watermark the right way up. The watermark uses the standard PDF font, so it works with Latin letters, numbers and common symbols, not with scripts such as Hindi or with emoji.
No. Everything runs in your browser on your own device using the open-source pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries, which download from a public CDN the first time you use the tool. Your files are never sent to our server or anyone else.
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, including text, fonts, images and links, so the quality is identical and text stays selectable. Only the Compress levels other than Light change how pages are stored.
The Balanced, Strong and Extreme levels redraw each page as a picture at a lower resolution, which is what makes big scanned or image-heavy PDFs much smaller. Use the Light level if you need selectable text; it keeps the PDF as it is and only removes wasted space.
Not at the moment. If a PDF is locked with a password or has editing restrictions, remove the protection in the app you normally use (you'll need the password), then add it here.
Choose Split & extract, then Every page, and press Download. Each page is saved as its own PDF and they are downloaded together in one ZIP file.
Add the PDF, choose Edit title, type the new title and press Download. The current title, author, subject and keywords are filled in for you to change or clear. The downloaded copy shows the new title in PDF readers and browser tabs; your original file is not changed.
Add the PDF, choose PDF to JPG, pick a quality and press Download. Normal (150 DPI) is sharp on screens, High (300 DPI) is best for printing, and Small (72 DPI) makes light previews. A single page downloads as one JPG; several pages download together in a ZIP, numbered in the order shown. Pages you rotate or delete first are saved that way.
There is no fixed limit. Files of a few hundred pages work well on a modern computer; very large files depend on how much memory your device has, and compressing takes longer because every page is redrawn.
