The Logo to Brand Style Guide Generator turns a logo file into a practical starting point for a brand style guide. Upload, drop or paste a PNG, JPG, WEBP or SVG logo. The tool looks for a transparent or plain background around the logo and leaves it out, then groups the remaining pixels into colours. From these it picks a primary, secondary and accent colour with simple rules, builds a neutral grey scale lightly tinted with your colours, and adds success, warning, error and info colours whose hue and strength are nudged towards your palette so they sit well together.
Every colour gets a 50 to 900 scale of tints and shades, with the original colour placed on the step that matches its lightness. You can change any colour role with a colour picker, by typing a HEX code or by clicking one of the colours found in the logo, and the whole guide updates. The Accessibility tab shows a WCAG 2 contrast table for common text and background pairs with AA, AAA and AA Large results, and suggests the right text colour for each brand colour and the darkest or lightest shade to use as text on white or dark backgrounds.
The Typography tab suggests a Google Fonts pairing for headings and body text based on traits of the logo, such as warm or cool colours, colour strength and how rounded its shapes are. It is a suggestion from simple rules, not font recognition. The Logo usage tab gives the aspect ratio, a transparency check, minimum sizes for screen and print, clear space, header and favicon sizes, and previews on light, dark and brand backgrounds. Export CSS custom properties, SCSS, Tailwind v4 or v3 config and design tokens JSON, or download a self-contained HTML style guide you can share or print as a PDF. Everything runs in your browser and the tool does not use AI.
No. Your logo is read and analysed by your own browser, and the colours, previews and files are created on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. The only optional request is the font preview, which loads fonts from Google Fonts when you press its button; your logo is never sent.
It groups the logo’s pixels into a few main colours, ignoring transparent pixels and a plain background. The most used strong colour becomes primary, the next clearly different colour (or a dark wordmark colour) becomes secondary, and the colour furthest in hue from the primary becomes the accent. If the logo has too few colours, it suggests matching ones, and you can change any of them.
No. The font pairing is a suggestion based on simple rules about your logo, such as warm or cool colours, colour strength and whether its shapes are rounded or angular. It does not read or identify lettering. If you know your brand fonts, use those instead.
They are levels from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2). Normal text needs a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for AA and 7:1 for AAA. AA Large means the pair reaches 3:1, which is only enough for large text (24 px, or 18.66 px bold) and for icons and borders.
Yes. The Export tab gives a Tailwind v4 @theme block and a Tailwind v3 tailwind.config.js colours section, so you can use classes such as bg-primary-500 or text-neutral-900. You can also copy plain CSS custom properties, SCSS variables or design tokens JSON for Figma plugins and Style Dictionary.
JPG files cannot be transparent, so the logo sits on a solid background. The tool removes that colour for its previews, but for real use a PNG with a transparent background, or better an SVG, works far better on photos and coloured areas.

Paste SVG code or open an .svg file and convert it to a sharp PNG, JPG, WEBP or ICO image at any size, with a transparent or coloured background.
